INSURANCE
Third-party liability up to 1.300.000 € per accident.
Bodily injuries to third party up to 1.300.000 € per victim.
Personal Accident Insurance Driver 5.000 € (only for cars).
Collision Damage Waiver Insurance (CDW): The insurance covers damage to the rental vehicle. The client’s responsibility is from 600 € to 1.800 € (for cars), from 450 € to 750 € (for scooters and motorcycles), and from 700 € to 1000 € (for quad/ATV) – depending on the vehicle category.
24% VAT and 0.5 % municipality tax is included in the price.
Breakdown assistance on the island of Lefkada.
Unlimited kilometers on the island of Lefkada.

There are the following types of insurance:

CDW (Collision Damage and Theft Waiver): With this insurance the customer is covered in the event of damage or theft of the rented vehicle. The customer is liable for the first 600 to 1.800 € (depending on the vehicle category). This insurance is included in the rental price. The value of the liability (excess) is as follows: Category A, A1, A2, B, B1 – 600 € // Category C, C1 – 750 € // Category D, D1, E, E1, G, G1 – 900 € // Category I, J, K – 1.200 € // Category L – 1.800 €
FDW (Full Damage and Theft Waiver): With this insurance the customer can reduce the amount of liability (excess) to 1/3 of the original value. With FDW insurance the excess amount is as follows: Category • With FDW insurance the excess amount is as follows: Category A, A1, A2, B, B1 – 200 € // Category C, C1 – 250 € // Category D, D1, E, E1, G, G1 – 300 € // Category I, J, K – 400 € // Category L – 600 €
SCW (Super Collision Damage and Theft Waiver): Same as FDW but covers the WHOLE amount. The client is not responsible to pay anything for the accident.

For groups I, J, K, the security deposit is 100€, and group L where the security deposit is 200€.

cases the insurance does not cover damages:
Damage to the undercarriage of the vehicle. If the vehicle is being driven with a flat tire, or with the over-heat indicator on. If the vehicle is being driven off-road. Damage to the interior of the car. Missing accessories (baby seats, helmets, helmet cases, vehicle keys, wheel covers, etc.). For loss of personal belongings. If the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If the driver violated the Greek traffic law. If the driver does not have a valid driving licence. For damages caused by a driver who is not registered in the rental contract. For parking fines and traffic offences.
cases have to pay for road assistance:
In cases of customer negligence, for example, driving off-road, losing a key, or running out of fuel.

For one-way rentals from/to Preveza airport, you must add the “Lefkada Town – Preveza Airport One-way Collection Fee”, or the “Agios Nikitas – Preveza Airport One-way Collection Fee”.
For one-way rentals between Lefkada Town and Agios Nikitas, you must add the “Lefkada Town – Agios Nikitas One-way Collection Fee”.
For hotels, the delivery charge is automatically included in the booking price. If you are picking up a vehicle from a Hotel in Lefkada island and dropping it off to Preveza Airport, or the opposite, you also must manually add the “Lefkada Town – Preveza Airport One-way Collection Fee”.
You can’t pick up or drop off a vehicle at a location than the ones we offer on our website.

Minimum age is 23 years for categories A, A1, A2, B, B1, C, C1, D, D1, and 25 years for categories E, E1, G, G1, I, J, K, L. Drivers 23-24 years old must add the “Young Driver Surcharge” insurance.
Μaximum age is 75 years. Drivers 70-75 years old must add the “Senior Driver Surcharge” insurance.
All drivers must have a driving licence for at least 2 years for categories A, A1, A2, B, B1, C, C1, D, D1 and 3 years for categories E, E1, G, G1, I, J, K, L.

For renting a car, a category B licence is required, which has been issued in a European Union country or in a country which is part of the Vienna Convention. Driving licences from Israel, Australia, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and Canada are valid in Greece. Drivers from other countries need an international driving licence.

Make a reservation, you book the category, we see the specific model you chose as your preference and are prioritising it for you.
We try to assign your preferred model, but in case it’s not available, we’ll assign you a similar model of the same group. Also, we retain the option to assign you a bigger category at no extra charge (free upgrade).

We only offer road assistance and/or replacement vehicles on the island of Lefkada and on the nearby mainland. You are not allowed to go to another island with one of our vehicles, with the exception of Meganisi. You are not allowed to cross the borders of Greece. If you plan to go somewhere else on the mainland, you need to let us know beforehand. There might be an extra charge for long-distance trips.

roads that must be avoided:
The road to Megali Petra beach (near Kalamitsi village) is in bad condition. Your brakes might overheat and stop working temporarily, and because the road is very narrow, it’s very difficult for road assistance to reach you. Driving there is at your own risk.

traffic fines:
The driver is responsible for all traffic and parking fines. Our staff will inform you of the location where you can pay the penalty. Unpaid fines will be charged to the customer’s credit card.

fuel policy:
The vehicle has to be returned with the same fuel level as it was taken. No money is refunded for excess fuel in the vehicle. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel or diesel, the customer will be charged the difference.
